TVDC Endorses Mark Fickes for Superior Court Judge, Seat #12

January 15, 2024 - The Tri-Valley Democratic Club interviewed the two candidate for Alameda Superior Court Judge, Office 12. Candidates Mark Fickes and Michael Johnson made five minute opening statements, followed by a 20 minute QA session. 

Both Candidates are currently working within the Superior Court system. Michael Johnson served as Senior Counsel for AT&T and WarnerMedia and is currently a Temporary Judge in Alameda County Superior Court. After a successful legal career of nearly 30 years in both the public and private sector, Mark Fickes was appointed by the Alameda County Superior Court to the position of Alameda County Superior Court Commission.

At the end of the meeting Tri-Valley Democratic Club President Jackie Tarin-Rankl announced that Mark Fickes received 78.6% of the vote.  Members in attendance voted at a website where their memberships were verified.
